Lexie Waltz

We were asked to think about why we write.  To be quite honest, I had never thought about such a thing.  My initial thought was 'well I mostly just write when I have an assignment due', but as I looked further into why I enjoy writing, I found there's a lot more to the story.   

What once was an absolute chore and burden, has now become something I willingly subject myself to.  It definitiely took some work, but writing has turned into a way for me to break out of my comfort zone and express myself in ways I never thought was possible.  

Writing this essay allowed me to take a closer look at why I enjoy writing and allowed me to discover a few things about myself along the way.
