Project 2 was a redmediation project. We were instructed to pick a piece of writing from the past and transform it into a new project. Last semester I wrote a research paper on food deserts and the fact that many colllege campuses are certified food deserts.
This paper was very interesting to me and I wanted to keep working on something related to the food desert topic. I've recently noticed that many students living on the Michigan campus (a certified food desert) have little to no knolwedge about cooking or ways to make healthy yet affordable food. I decided to write a pseudo-blog that would incorporate personal stories with recipes and helpful tips about how to make helathy and affordable meals while living on a food desert college campus.
My Project 2 is the writing that I would later turn into an actual blog. I used the formatting of other blogs on my document to give it the blog-like feel, but for this project didn't turn it into the actual blog.
